It is from 2015, so a lot of changes in Unity from that. The Standard Assets 2018.4 are no longer, so if you not have it allready you can not get it. There is a lot of Q & A to tackle the problems. You must have Android to download the resurces. I think it is better to not use this, and use the the videoes Playmaker has that is newer than this. I had the Standard assets and followed a link to get the updated character controller used in this turtual. The instructor looks is no here anymore.

I’ve heard several times to not waste money on classes and just watch YouTube vids. I’m glad I took the chance on this course. Vids are fine once you know what you need to look for. This course was laid out in a way that you learned the basic concepts in the order you’d most likely need them. I now have the confidence to start building and search/learn the rest as I need to.

The course claims to have downloadable assets required for this course but unfortunately they are no where to be found!

It can still be edited a bit. There are good pointers here and there. He makes the layout really interesting and easy at the same time.

This is a very good course that explains many of the concepts in English and not in computer jargon. So anyone that is not a computer person they can learn what all that is going on in the unity environment and start to learn what all the computer terminology means when one does run into computer terminology.

I learned a lot from this course, but often felt frustrated by MdotStrange's not paying attention to detail and tendency to talk too much. My feel is with a little organization he could teach twice as much in half the time. Still, he's quite likable and I feel I got an excellent knowledge of key things in both Unity and Playmaker. I lowered the rating too because not one of my questions were answered on the forums.

While the content and explanations are thorough and detailed, I'm setting my playback speed a little higher because it seems a little slow paced for my taste. Otherwise a top-notch course and I plan on leaving a glowing review.

This is the best Unity/Playmaker course on the web I've come across. The author takes the time to actually explain the very basics and the very important question of why things are they way they are. The foundational aspect is something that is very difficult if not impossible to find on youtube, for example. I'm updating this review because this course is so beneficial! I can't believe I'm only halfway through - it's so thorough. Aside from the fantastic content and near perfect pacing - not too slow, not too fast, M dot Strange is entertaining. Making a few jokes along the way is great. Anyway, the ease with which you get up to speed is incredible. If I could give more starts than five I would. Seriously, if you want to learn Playmaker, buy this course now and get started. -- Just finished all 88 lessons. Excellent. Just buy it already. 10 starts if possible.

So far very concise and informative lessons. Straight to the point, easy to follow and well explained sections. Probably the best description of Bool, integer, string etc. i've seen anywhere. Looking forward to the rest...

Great tutorial! Strange is not your usual stuffy "professor" - his personality and delivery of information is fantastic and he really stays down to earth while explaining concepts that can be perceived as complicated..

Well I'm a little more then half way through the course, and I'm giving it a 5 star rating because to date it has been the best course I've taken. There are three other courses out there on Unity/Playmaker, I have them and they are good, but M dot Strange has put together what I feel is by far the best of the lot. If you think you want to learn Unity and Playmaker in order to make games, and do it with little to no coding, then you would be well advised to purchase this course. I will follow up with a final review when I complete this course. Brian

M dot Strange has a knack for the making the complex seem easy. He has distilled a lot of hard won knowledge and tricks into a very entertaining package. Highly recommend! Would love to see more videos - perhaps incorporating Behavior Designer for AI.
