The course gave a very clear and concise account on the features covered. However, explanations on interactivity and captions were missing. Also, the course contained a video called: "Bonus122020", on data analysis, which is not related to 2023 Camtasia Studio Video Editing - Beginner to Intermediate. Otherwise, the course instructor is very engaging and Knowledgeable.

Although it did not meet my expectations, still four stars because of the time and energy the instructor put into it. But this is a real beginner's course if you have never worked with camtasia before and you want to get a first impression. Although you can get the same information on TechSmith's site. If you have already edited some videos in camatasia, this course doesn't add much. Very little to no attention is paid to recording audio. And that's a miss. Especially for beginners. My advice is to record audio with Audacity and not Camtasia. Audacity is a freely available software and offers many, many more possibilities to produce and edit quality audio. Then it is easy to import into camtasia. I am not sure to recommend/not recommend this course. Should you want to buy it, wait for an offer from Udemy. Otherwise, it is quite an expensive class when you consider the value of money principle.

I'm afraid that this course is too short and incomplete. There's a lot more you need to learn to use Camtasia proficiently. The Techsmith educational pages or their YouTube channels cover everything on this course in far more detail plus more.
