I have had some exposure to C but no formal training until now. I would like to know more about the role of ';' and scopes. I often find it helpful to understand a little more about what is going on in the black box. The light behind the presenter's head was a little distracting at first but I got used to it. Because my typing is a little slow I had to stop the video to keep up with the typing and running. I would like to know more about gcc and its options. Many thanks.

Yes it was a good match. I learnt all I need to learn about C to create simple programs. I also installed the compiler, which will help e in future projects.

I think this is a great course. With a caveat. It is 5 hours long so your not going to be a master C programmer when you finish this course or even a proficient C programmer. But if you are coming from another language. This is a fantastic course to get up to speed on how C works. Or if you haven't coded in a while and already have some experience in C this could be a great refresher course. There is even a lot of value in this course for beginners to get the basic idea of how the language works. But yea, it is a 5 hour long course. Totally worth it but if your new to C this is the first step into C. For those looking for a course that just gets straight to the point, this is a good course to take.

This is an excellent course! I watched quite a few of them about C and this is the first one where I am not treated like an idiot. I am sorry to be harsh but nowadays people teach C as if it is going to be used like Python. Dan is showing here some great and naughty usage of C and shares great hints here and there. This is definitely not a course for absolute beginners but I highly recommend this for anyone with some IT background. I am definitely going to buy all other Dan's courses. Dzięki i pozdrawiam!

It was good. A few things that I missed the first time though, but I figured out, is that I have to save the work before I can go forward making an exe file. Kind of obvious once I realized what to do, but I didn't hear this in the lecture. I miss little things like this frequently, which is probably why I have struggled with programming in the past. It is a good course overall, allowing us to watch and follow is extremely helpful. And if the things I miss are relatively small, I think I can do this. I look forward to learning C programming through this course.

I have spent many years programming in Java, Python and other languages and even C many years ago. I really just needed a refresher course. I tried a couple other C courses before this one and they just dragged on and on and I just couldn't stay interested to finish. This one was direct and to the point and didn't repeat the same thing multiple times. Also there were a couple times I got hung up or had a question and asked it in the Q&A and promptly got a response. The instructor does a great job answering questions and sticking with problems until you have it resolved. This course was done very well. I'm really happy to have found it.

You wrote in C in VS CODE The feature tries to move the parameters {}. Because it thinks the user is writing in JavaScript. Other than that everything was good

Up to now it is a really great course. Concise and very clear explanations of the concepts, which cover most of the important features of the c language. Easy but enlightening examples. Just waiting to reach the final project to underpin all the material. Very recommendable course to introduce to the c programming language.

Hard to follow, larger print on screen would be awesome.. and since this is a beginner deal.. a much simpler compiler would be nice.. something simple like Dev C.. bare bones and simple.
