It seems to be catered to writing a cover letter for a job, but that was not in the course description

Not really. By now I was hoping to get into the exercise documents, which aren't there for practicing purposes and also into the meat of how to write a business letter.

I am taking this course to provide guidance to a team on how to write effective business communications within an organization. So far the research and finding the right person to respond to were very specific to communications with an unknown individual.

I am not shopping for a job. This is how to write an email for getting a job. Title should be more specific - This was ok. I might have had high expectations going into this course and website. Thank you for the course, it was a start.
