It features calculation or computation capabilities, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual Basic for Applications. As a database developer and administrator you will create queries frequently. Sometimes you also need to generate bulk  SQL queries to insert or update multiple records; Microsoft Excel can be used to generate bulk queries that you can execute on a database server.

Bluelime puts out a ton of content; the instructor is easy to understand and goes at a slow enough pace, so you don't miss anything. He provides all the datasets you need, links to Oracle, and TOAD for Oracle, so you have the tools you need. This will give you a good introduction to using Excel as a tool to build bulk queries. Examples include: creating new rows, updating rows, inserting values, and deleting values. I felt the formula for building a query could have been improved, so I left a comment on one of the videos, but for the most part, you can use the formula that he suggests with some slight tweaking. For a brief, to-the-point course, I would recommend this to anyone.

Para mi gusto, le falta experiencia para enseñar y debería ser más dinámico. (No aporta nada que no esté en los manuales básicos de SQL)
