This was an excellent, in depth course. The Products used are a little outdated, but that is to be expected with the speed new technology is released.

The course gives a lot of detail for the specific components chosen for this build. It may give you a flavor for what you can do with your own components, but may not apply if your components are made by a different manufacturer. This course is also getting a bit dated. As fast as gaming components change, this course won't help you much with choosing your components among the current choices. The course covers the basic principles of building a high performance PC system quite well. Just temper your expectations according to my comments above. I feel the course is easily worth your time and its price.

not bad for its price. but I'd recommend taking several courses and maybe even textbooks. I still didn't find a PC-assembling course that is 100% self contained. also something that helped me in this and other video courses is to actually watch the lessons as if I were reading a Textbook, like with some seriousness. this is def much more than entertaining Youtube videos. gl

Very good, but the entire lighting system was great on the theory, but very weak in the actual connections. First, he showed close-ups of the various components, but should have given us a view of where they fit on the back of the case from distance. Second, he needed to remind us of the fan cables that were placed on the back of the case to see how they were connected to the commander pro and other component. He just went too quickly.

This this course is great but is several years old. I picked this course over more recent courses but am using in conjunction with YouTube ideos for more up to date equipment. I’m also a little confused about the hub and the node pro and the commander pro but hopefully I’ll catch on..

I can’t believe this! 45% of the time is spent on RGB lighting and another 45% is spent on screwing screws in (it isn’t necessary to show the process for every single screw). I thought this class is about building a computer? Which about 10% of the time is spent on.

the course it is great for its value, however in the section 10 the ligthing node pro. I would have prefered that everything was plug in in the pc instead of the outside. Also, show you the choice with no ligthung node pro. thanks

I found this course to be very informative. There were a couple areas where I thought there could be some light improvement - such as describing thermal paste application directly to the CPU in the event you're not running a water cooler... but all in all, I really enjoyed it. I actually knew most of it already as a mega-nerd, but I was happy for the tutorials provided.
