Very in-depth, complex topic made simple and easy to understand. Very good course for basic and intermediate understanding.

Theoretical, but anyway I'm learning from Chris a lot from his MBA program and other financial courses as well.

I feel that there could have been a little more discussion behind some of the math. It felt very much just a quick overview.

An easy and simplifed way to teach how to model and value companies. I think this course can be useful for two groups of people: - beginners with little experience in finance and curious to find out more about valuing and modeling before taking a more detailed and complete course. - individuals already familiar with financial modeling that want to find out an easier and simpler way to figure out a Company valuation. Just an improvement I'd like to suggest for the class content: I think cash flow is pretty neglected and it would be worth spending a little more time on it.

not happy with this course. I feel like he spent the whole time telling you how easy it is but he never actually taught you what to do. the videos are extremely short and all he basically does is define the terms. I'm not sure if this is a lead in to his other courses but after this big waste of time i'm not sure I want to sign up for his other courses.

I understand it is supposed to be very simple but it was way too short and there's still a lot to be explained. I would rather he address all of the questions that would have been asked in additional videos. He should also produce the workings to his formulas and how he get certain figures so that it would be easier for everyone to understand. Overall, it is a good tutorial but lacks the additional content that would have made this a 5 star course.

Way to basic and simplistic for my expectations. However, it is a very good entry point for individuals who have not delved into financial modelling before.

Needs to be more detailed. I was interested in this course mainly in order to learn how to build a Business Plan. I was thinking about items like the working capital, or about adjustments you need to make in order to get normative years. Another example is the PE that is taken equal to revenue growth without any explanation except in the Q&A where it is just said that it was a common practice.

Hope you elaborate more on the 3 models by using more companies from different industry. Such as mature company, fast growing company and show some example of those company is not a worth for investment.

I was expecting something a bit more substantial. each lecture seems to avg to about 5 mins. Make sure you don't blink or you may miss a few

Hands down. 5-star. I signed up for the course hoping to brush up my valuation skills for potential career in startup, VC or corporate development. I am glad I did, and this course exceeds my expectation! It teaches very easy-to-grasp but effective methods. Having learned CFA L1 and MBA (non-finance track), I find this course the most useful from practical standpoint: you'll be able to quickly value a stock like a pro, not bothering the nitty-grity of the less-useful stuff in the financial statements. You'll get the gist - "less is more". Also, the lecture is fun to watch. Chris is one of the most responsive instructors I've seen on Udemy. And his explanation is Christal clear. It's awesome to have an all-star VC investor to dedicate his time teaching here. I look forward to learning more from Chris!

Professor Haroun made the intimidating task of building models SEEM basic. People make modelling unnecessarily complicated, it was so refreshing and, I can't believe I'm saying this, he made it FUN! He taught the easy secrets to modelling. Thank you for taking something, once so daunting and intimidating and making it fun!!
