i get that this is a short course, i think it will be worth mentioned, what is a class, which you did, how does inheritance work, you sorta did with parent class, you skipped out on instance of class in a clear and concise manner. you could have done that instantiating more than one instance of a class.

The instructor is very knowledgeable about the topic. Sometimes he over explains some points, but in general the course is really good

No responde a las preguntas y hay pasos básicos que no los explica. Bien si lo único que quieres es copiar.

This was exactly what I needed! I wanted to make a tinder clone as quickly and simply as possible with React. I have a decent understanding of how React works but am still pretty much a beginner so this was the perfect level of instruction. Each step was the logical next step and each video was short enough to keep me engaged and feeling like we were moving forward. THANK YOU for making this video and keeping it super simple, both in explanations and in what we built because I can actually understand and remember how we did it!

It was great to quickly make up a functioning app and to learn about Expo, react native packages and use fetch. I found my app didn't always work as it should because I missed a step or mis-read a file on the screen as things moved quite quickly. But the joy of videos is that you can pause and rewind so it wasn't the end of the world. Overall an enjoyable lesson!

Too much just copying what he's doing, and too little explanations of what is really going on. He always says he'll come back and explain in a little while, but then never really does. Perhaps it's too hard of a subject for only 1.5 hours. This can be followed by a seasoned javascript programmer, but I would not recommend for a beginner.

This video explained every single step and didn't glaze over little details that a lot of other tutorials do. I get why it's worth it to just pay the money because the quality is so much better than trying to find a good free video. There's a lot of good content out there, but you have to sift through a lot of riff raff to find it.

expected more information about the tool set up, debug, run to know overall development life-cycle more than coding within 1 hour but less information...

It was a good starter course. I did find that that the keyboard would not dismiss on iOS. Per https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29685421/react-native-hide-keyboard in Input.js you need to wrap the render in TouchableWithoutFeedback and dimiss the keyboard onPress.

It would be nice if the instructor was clearer on who his audience is. Some of the explanations are geared towards beginner non-programmers, and some of the explanations (and code constructions) assume a great deal more programming knowledge and would be extremely confusing and difficult for a non-programmer to follow. Also, it would be helpful to have more rationale behind the particular architectural choices as well as an explanation of arrow function syntax (and why these functions are declared inline instead of as independent class methods) for us intermediate folks. :)

Pros: It is Simple, to the point Cons: There is not enough time spent on important concepts for example you can see more time spent on STYLE sheet than explaining why they have to use Tendar component etc.

the instructor is spending time on explaining the most basic JavaScript. Eg. "Square brackets are something called an Array" or "A Boolean is a true/false value"

Straight forward, excellent English (clearly spoken) and not too difficult for a beginner. Had a bit of an issue on slide 12 but was able to figure out the issue with the zip files as support.
