Why take this course?

This course will walk you through two Discounted Cash Flow ("DCF") models to properly introduce all relevant concepts. The first DCF model will use everyday context to make the process easy to understand. The video runs less than 10 minutes long, and uses a simple example to introduce the purpose of DCF analysis.

Once the "Basic Discounted Cash Flow Model" has been introduced, the material will explain two concepts separately: Net Present Value ("NPV") and Weighted Average Cost of Capital ("WACC").

The last video walks through a more thorough discounted cash flow ("DCF") model. In this video we will use an integrated financial statement model to perform a DCF analysis of a company.

The course covered the basics and that was good but I am more interested learning about DCF modelling for property companies with practical examples.

its good but its need to use the advance formula in finance like NPV , PV,FV rather than using mathmatics , in other hand , if provide additional material in excel format.

There must be some downloadable excel file in which the basic format must already be made so you can follow the steps in the video and make the model simultaneously at the end. Rest is fine!

Great course. Takes a topic that can be very complex and reduces it down to the bear essentials. Great for people just starting out or in need of a refresher, as in my case. Would recommend to anyone before they move on to more complex versions of the DCF.

Won't recommend. Its too basic and if you're from a finance background then you'll find it as a wastage of time. I was hoping to see more detailed model with example of a listed company but its not practical and very straightforward which won't be the case when you make a model in real life on your job.

Very simple and straight to the point. I go to a regular university and frankly this 30-minute course should be required. It's different working numbers in excel then staring at them on paper.
