This Brother ScanNCut Advanced course helps you take your Brother ScanNCut skills to the next level so that you can make the most of your crafting experience. This course is project based so that you will learn the features of the Scan and Cut and apply them to your own projects. Even if you have been using your machine for a while, you will benefit from the wide variety of projects presented in this course including how to create embellishments, boxes and stickers. You will learn about the features of the Brother ScanNCut CM350 and be able to apply the same concepts to other models as well. You will learn how to work with built in patterns, how to scan and patterned paper, how to use the drawing feature, how to save and retrieve projects, and how to work in a variety of materials including card stock, acetate, vinyl, iron-on material and poster board. One of the unique features of this course is that I show you start to finish how to obtain projects from the Brother Canvas Workspace and cut them on your machine. I don’t leave out any steps so that you can follow along and then find your own projects to work with. Many other projects and topics are included and you will have the opportunity to practice and share your work with other students in the course. Not the fault of Kim, however I found that I already knew most of the stuff within this advanced course. Sadly, the weeding part that I wanted to see for the vinyl was done off camera. The snowman was a nice bonus though

Hi , thank you for sharing your ideas . I LEARN how to use many thing , but I wish if you shared how to make boxes instead of using a ready boxes for example .

Learned some new things and reinforced some previous learning. Love the Snowmen for Tic Tac's. I think I'll try to make some similar but for Halloween...a witch maybe? Or a ghost?

The course touched on both the Brother Machine and CanvasWorkspace. You also touch on the add-on items such as the stamp kit and universal pen holder. I love Kimberley's courses and would recommend them to any Scan 'n Cut owner, both beginner and advanced, as you will always learn something new.

I don't feel this course is advanced and much of it is repetative. It was good to to use a project to teach the different things the scan and cut can do, I would have like to see cutting fabric, individual letters to make your own words. How do make your own designs useing path lines. There were some useful hints and tips included

dissappointed as I have completed the basic course and the first two sections have just repeated that in the basic. No need of this. I am now half way through the course and although there has been new things to learn there is still alot of duplication from the basic course which is unnecessary

My second course by Kimberly on the scan cut. She definitely know how to use the machine with paper!! Maybe that is all there is to the Scan N Cut but I didn't feel it was advanced. I already knew a lot of this. Seemed intermediate.

Feel this course is a beginners not advanced. Would have like to see you working with the vinyl instead of looking at the scan n cut machine. Honesty did not learn anything new. But is a great beginners course.

I felt it wasn't advance has a lot of what is being taught is still very basic course. The only part of the course I learn was about vinyl section. Sorry to be so negitive

Very little was new to me but did revise previous knowledge. Did gain some information towards the end about vinyl and offset line. Good teacher with a structured approach and I would think it would be good for people with no or very limited previous experience. Advanced was not advanced enough for me. May be another course could be offered where specific assignments could be given with a demonstration on how to complete. I would like to know more about the design side of it in canvas. I have gleaned some information from YouTube but still experiencing some difficulty. I have limited IT experience although I can download, print, word etc but manipulating design is relatively new. Thank you and all the best

I took the basics course and couldn’t wait until Kim released an advance course! She didn’t let me down, this course is very comprehensive!! I now can make boxes and use the Brothers Scan and Cut a lot more comprehensively than I was using it before! Love the way she helped me make signs, iron-ons, and the embellishments from craft paper that I already have at home! The online program is a breeze to use now!! Keep these videos coming, Kim!
