Why take this course?

I know you're someone who understands just how harmful anger can be. It can wreck relationships and even poison your own personality. The truth is, most of us don't want to be angry, but we just don't know how to change our ways.

That's where this course comes in. It'll teach you all about the difference between constructive and destructive anger, and provide you with tools to adjust your ego, control tendencies, emotional insecurities, and adversarial patterns.

In this course, you'll gain a deep understanding of anger and how it relates to your emotional needs for significance, validation, and having your needs met. By recognizing the purpose of your anger, you'll learn how to use it constructively to build healthy, respectful relationships.

You'll also become proficient at identifying the damaging effects of suppressed anger and develop honest, constructive ways of expressing yourself. With this, you'll be able to resist the temptation to belittle or demean others and instead, use tools that allow you to be in control without being controlling.

In addition, you'll learn strategies for transforming passive anger into a direct, supportive way of communicating your needs. These techniques will enable you to be assertive without undermining the dignity of others or yourself.

I also provide you with rational structures for effectively releasing anger, allowing your mind to focus on higher priorities like acceptance, patience, and understanding. By doing so, you'll gain a new perspective and renewed mental vitality.

Moreover, you'll learn to quickly identify situations where anger is being used destructively, whether it's harming your own well-being or that of others, and take action to prevent it from sabotaging your success personally and professionally.

Finally, you'll discover how to let go of bitterness, realizing that holding onto it is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Instead, you'll be challenged to prioritize mercy and tolerance, leading to a more fulfilling and successful life.

By the time you finish the course, you'll not only have a deeper understanding of healthy anger management, but also the skills you need to transform your anger from a destructive force to a new personal presence that leads to genuine success in your personal and relational life.

So why not join me on this journey to a happier, more fulfilling life? Sign up now and let's build a better future together.

This course by Les Carter dovetailed well with other resources that I have been using to address my anger, such as Good and Angry by David Powlison, Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by John Gottman, and other. Like Powlison's "good anger", Les describes "good anger" as "assertive anger". There is a need to understand that anger is a God given emotion and there are healthy ways to express the anger constructively. There is hope for those of use that get angry, because we all do get angry.

This course was very enlightening and helped expand my very narrow definition of anger and has provided insight and tools to help me begin expressing my anger in a healthy and productive way.

Not the typical stuff I've heard before but practical applications to defeat aggressive anger and rethink why I behave in such a way and how to think before acting to achieve positive outcomes. The course is very professionally created. I also found it helpful to make notes as I went along into a dedicated notebook that I can refer to down the road.

Basically no actual examples of what to do with anger or deeper understanding of the why. Grade 7 level. Little insulting to people that can actually read. Presenter seems genuine though

This is a wonderful course -- nice clear teaching points and easy to understand. It is also succinct, which is wonderful. One mechanical issue -- these videos (and this material) seem to have been adapted from other course. It is maddening to me that Video numbers and the session numbers don't match up. For instance Video 10 goes with session 7. Hate to go all OCD on your, but it confused the heck out of me until I finally made a little chart. I know you you got busted for this on the Amazon reviews (I read them) of the workbook, but I am a Christian and it is the core of my life. I like the scriptural citations in the workbook and they reinforce who I am trying to become.

This is the type of instruction I wish I had received as a child. The content is direct, and it's presented in such a way that I feel compelled to receive it, rather than directed to follow it. Highly recommended.

Good match for me. I respect Dr Carter and have learned from his books and Team Healthy participation. Good to know that breaking free from the anger trap is a life-long process.

A very eye opening course. Now "armed" with some tips/techniques to manage my anger before it gets totally out of hand.

It seems like a good fit. Time will tell … what drew me too this course from the others is the presenter. He has a very soft caring way of talking about anger . He makes me want to listen and learn from him. It’s important for me to like and feel comfortable with the instructor … that’s half the battle. When I feel comfortable with the person presenting I will be open and honest with my responses for learning

The content of this course is so solid! I needed this 40 years ago! I want to handle my anger in a positive way... not blaming others or manipulating others to get my way. Yet, I don’t want to continue to be angry because I allow others to violate my boundaries ( convictions ).
