While making this course my main aim was to give my students an edge over those people who didn't get the opportunity to get to know about this course and get this level of understanding.

Why take this course?

Boolean Algebra is a very important topic and is easy to understand and apply. It is different from elementary algebra.

In this course students will first understand what Boolean Algebra is all about. Next they will learn about the various Laws and important Theorems (Commutative Law, Assocative Law, Absorption Law, Indentity Law, Complement Law, Idempotent law, Involution Law, Distributive Law, The De-Morgan's Theorem and finally Duality Principle) associated with Boolean Algebra. At the end of this section there is a Live Practice lecture where I have taken up some very good examples to explain how we can apply the different Boolean Laws and Theorems we have learnt to simplify and solve complex Boolean expressions. The main aim is to make you a perfectionist in all the aspects of Boolean Laws, be it their understanding or their application.

In the very next section students will get a very deep and detailed understanding of different types of Logic Gates (AND gate, OR gate, NOT gate, NOR gate, NAND gate, XOR gate and the last one XNOR gate). This section will cover everything one needs to know on Logic Gates. In the last lecture I have taken some examples to explain how one can derive the Boolean Expressions from a give Logic gate diagram and finally simply that complex expression using the Boolean Laws we learnt in the first section.

Overall this is going to be a very exciting course and it is going to be a great fun for my students.

Very good introduction to Boolean Algebra if you haven't expose to it before. It gives a nice quick summary what this subject entails. If you wish to learn more about this in depth. This is not the program to do it as it only provides surface level studies.

The course is good but there not exercise for the students to practice. As well there isn't a support file(s) to reinforce the learning experience. Hope the Professor update this course although overall is good but there a lot room for improvement.

Un prix un peu cher je trouve, néanmoins le cours est très bien et l'autrice explique très bien les choses. Je remarque cependant une petite erreur dans la présentation, en effet, la 1ère vidéo de la 2ème section n'est pas au bon endroit. Bonne continuation Dorian !

The monotone tone, thick accent, inconceivable speech, no explanation of concept whatsoever, just reading out loud 010010101 what I can see on my screen. She made mistakes in 4 videos and 1 her video froze. And I paid money for it? Outrageous!

I don't feel like this instructor knew what they were talking about very well. There are several examples of this that I could give, but I'll shorten it down to just 1 quite jarring example. During lecture 14 she seemed to just get lost trying to simplify the first boolean expression and then just wrote the answer and was like "hopefully this all makes sense....now on to the next problem". Delivery of content was confusing and not engaging. Do not waste your money on this course.

Quick and concise explanations for the logic gates. The truth tables were simple and easy to understand. Definitely not a bad course, but some of it could have been explained better and in more depth. Some of the algebra was not explained fully and could have been explained better. Also the pace was a bit fast at times, however in a way that's also what was good about the course. It was quick and straight to the point. Great.

Great course for an introduction to Boolean expressions. I had a computer design class at my University and after my first lecture on this topic, I realized I had no idea what the professor was talking about and I had to supplement. I grabbed this course and it was a great short walkthrough. I knocked it out in a weekend and feel prepared now for the next University lecture. My only suggestion is to add some exercises and go into more multiple applications in detail (step by step) of each law. Also, the last logic gate example was not simplified. Going into how to simplify the boolean expressions before expressing the logic gates would be helpful. How to use the XNOR and XOR gates would be helpful as well.

In one lesson the truth tables do not display. I hear you, but the video does not continue. When you simplify the two NAND gates, you do not provide a truth table. On your last video, you could have provided a truth table and simplified the gates. Overall, an excellent course. At the end of your course, you could mention if you have any additional courses.

She does an excellent job of breaking each piece down into simple steps for viewers who do not have much background in the topic. Only way I would improve the lecture is by expanding on the final topic (More than one example of turning boolean algebra into gates)

This isn't really about understanding Boolean algebra (other than a very surface level) or tips for how to simplify complex Boolean expressions. The course is more about the surface level of logic gates and their truth tables, nothing more than that. There are no insights given (for example, tips for identifying when to apply certain laws) and nothing that you could find on a single page on Google. Not really worth the money at all!

The topics were clearly defined and clearly demonstrated. The instructor was easy to understand. The only improvement I can offer is to include a downloadable PDF file to be printed out before starting the course. The topic should be printed on each page and a grid laid out so that we can fill it out as the instructor goes through each lesson. This helps to reinforce the learning process and the student will now have a reference file on this subject.
