I’d like some examples of the shots taken with some graphics showing settings to help reinforce lessons.

This course is decent, but frequently refers to other courses taught by this instructor that are not available for the business version of Udemy

The modules were in bite-sized pieces, and the pacing was moderate enough that I could follow along with my own gear. It was especially useful that Bob always introduced ways to create the lighting effects with do-it-yourself modifications, *and with professional gear.

Though I've taken other flash classes before online and in person, I was impressed with Bob's delivery! I love that his methodology is so consistent! It makes it easy to follow and builds confidence from lesson to lesson that you can begin to anticipate his starting settings. I definitely learned more about using my histogram's features that I had not been exposed to elsewhere!

BOB DAVIS' STYLE OF TEACHING THE FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY IS AWESOME. IT IS VERY SIMPLE AND EDUCATIVE AND THE STUDENTS CAN LEARN HIS METHODS VERY EARLY AND GET GREAT RESULTS WHICH WAS HAUNTING THEM IN THEIR FLASH TECHNIQUES. HATS OFF TO BOB DAVIS' TEACHING.

This is a great course and helped me a lot to learn so much about lighting. Bob is a great teacher and goes through everything in detail while keeping it interesting. I have been a photographer for a few years now, very comfortable with landscapes and city environments, but have always avoided flash as I never understood the basics. This course has everything on how to get good lighting and what to consider in any shoot, which will be a great help to me going forward. Bob covers all the equipment he uses and how to use everything in the best possible way to get the photos you want. Thanks Bob! You've given me a lot of confidence in my future photography.

Bob Davis is a very engaging and easy to listen to instructor. He has many years of experience, and the quality of his work second to none. The content is easy to understand, and has many great real-world examples of a professional photoshoot in the field. However one thing that can distracting in the content, is the lack of QA on segment continuity by either referring to topics that have been covered previously when they haven't, or by referring to content that will be covered in future segments that has been covered previously. There are also references to topics that will be covered in the course, which end up never getting another mention in any segment. Someone from Wiley needs to spend some time reviewing the segment ordering to get this great content back into the sequence that it was originally intended. In short, a really great course and engaging instructor that is let down by sloppy segment ordering.
