So far so good. I have a want and desire to start jumping ahead and stringing more patterns together as I've been a working bass player for 20+ years. I'm glad Erich breaks these concepts down as simply as he does, because learning any instrument is all about taking small bites and chewing on them slowly.

I really enjoyed this course and all the jam tracks and resources / diagrams. I wish I had this course years ago before I ever learned the 5 pentatonic boxes. The approach and explanations are great. Looking at the blues scale this way really is fun and easy but still challenging in its own way. Also the first set of backing tracks (in A) are great to experiment and try out the newly learned. Why 4 stars then? The second half of the course are the same jam tracks in different keys (each track in C, G, E and D). And in order to complete the course you have to listen to all off them. I would prefer to have them as an optional download.

Very good match. I am really taking my time to work through each lesson. Playing along with jam tracks is new for me and is a challenge. I am really enjoying the whole experience and this is material I can understand and use.

I was very disappointed that there weren't any basic licks tabbed to play along with the backing tracks. It was basically a backing track pack with some diagrams of the extended horizontal blues scale patterns in different keys.
