I am thrilled that I have taken this course. Even though my progress is slow, and I listen to one lecture daily, it helps me begin my work on my book. I have a website and have written blog posts on music. And I do want to turn my posts into a book. This course is helping me to bring everything together. I still have so much work to do, but the course facilitates the process. After each lecture, I go back to my book in Scrivener, add content, and edit some existing rough drafts to include in the main body. I also do the exercises and determine how the concepts apply to my goal. Starting with Dale's lectures most mornings during the week encourages me to persevere. By doing this, I have semi-edited about 43,000 words in my book so far. In addition, I reflect significantly on the lectures and think about them throughout my day. This course is a valuable resource for anyone who wants to write a nonfiction book.

In all honesty, I'd have to say that I'm a tad confused about this course! Obviously, Dale is a very professional instructor and knows her business too. But the way the course is laid out is surprising: sometimes very clear and other times so complicated. I feel like being submerged under all kind of information and instructions. Overall, it is not what I expected, because it lacks a clear and simple organisation.

i love the pace and the detail of the teaching - Dale has thought of absolutely everything, and while i am currently listening to the course as a whole entity to get a feel for it, i have taken several of the exercises and am excited to explore my book in depth later

Voice volume on some lessons is great, and on others, voice volume is so faint, I can hardly hear. The information I signed up to learn was not covered until the last third of the class. Much of the information covered in the first half of the course was fundamental review. I did take lots of notes as there is so much that goes into writing and publishing a book, reviews are always good. I reference back to my notes often. Thank You!
