Why take this course?

In this course we will go through my process in creating a Scifi Podracer in Blender 2.8. We start off with myself doing some concept drawings and how easy it is for you to come up with your own ideas. We will also go through the blocking stage to start the process of refining the model

Once we start modelling, we will work through using several modifiers including

Subsurface
Bevel
Boolean
Shrink
Mirror

We will also use a free add on to create material quickly and apply them to our podracer. By the end of this course you should have your own podracer, and also a greater understanding of how to use Blender 2.8.

I have also provided you with each Blend file at the start of each lesson.

My Blender version 2.83 is not giving me the same results as his... so far I am finding work arounds. Lots of good info here but I do think I may need to find a more comprehensive beginners tutorial to focus on why Im having issues with the commands and settings. Many of the functions he's using are not behaving for me as in tutorial... For example his demo of the array modifier was not working at all, Loop cuts, fall off transform etc... Blender is Amazing though having fun :)

I am very dissapointed that author did not show how did he animate lightning animations, even if i copy it from his project files, it does not work as intented. It's good tutorial if you want stricly have an idea how to do a POD RACER like me otherwise , not worth it. It's a tutorial for those who want to do a pod for a screenshoot, if you want to animate it. and attach it to the scene. Boi, you're gonna sit for hours of own research. And another important thing. Tutorial is in 720p which is riddiculous ... you cant even see proper text on smaller screen.
