After many a started course, this was the first one that I completed, and it only took me a few days. The approach is super friendly and the clear explanations and small "challenges" made progressing quick. Overall a great refresher to Blender and as a bonus the scene you get to build is really cute! :)

Opens with a good reintroduction to Blender for those who are out of practice, as well as for newcomers. As it continues, the course shows and explains different workflows for efficiently producing low-poly models. In the final segment, Grant brings everything together seamlessly to produce a high quality piece of work. An absolute little gem of a course!

For the most part, this course is below my experience level. . . but despite "knowing a thing or two" your guys' courses always teach me new things, whether it be shortcuts, thought processes and techniques. Something that excites me about these courses is knowing how to explain to someone else with less experience how to use Blender!

I liked the amount of helpful information and practical exercises. In contrast with youtube lessons on the same theme, Grant explains the purposes of Blender functions, not just show the material.

I think that it was a helpful course it didn't show me stuff that I didn't already know but that because I've been doing blender for a few months now but if I had never done blender before this would be super helpful.

In the beginning I thought it was going a little bit to fast for a beginner course, but the more I advance and get use to the beat, the better it get. And I do like the stylised house, it is event better if you modified yours and not just following every step.

A fantastic course if you're looking for additional practice as a beginner to blender. Like with all gamedev.tv courses, the use of challenges to push students into making their own variations means you get much more out of your time following the lectures. Before this, I had just finished the blender beginner course, but was still fairly lacking in confidence. After this course, I feel far more capable of making environments on my own.

Grant Abbitt courses are absolutely amazing. I completed his free Youtube course, for the very basics of Blender and modelling, and this course is the perfect continuation. Next I'm continuing the Low Poly course, and I have already purchase two more courses. Grant's relaxed (Bob Ross of 3D) atitude is amazing to keep learning without frustration, and teaching structure is focus and clear to follow. A great deal of effort and thought was put in this course and that shows. Highly recommended
