The course provides a holistic perspective of Additive Manufacturing Technology. The course presents an opportunity to see through & understand additive manufacturing as in real life using 3D animation driven visual platform.

Course starts by introducing the basics of Additive manufacturing process and its unique attributes and offerings while comparing with traditional manufacturing processes.

You will get familiarized with additive manufacturing fundamentals, general process workflows, benefits & limitations along with real life industrial applications. The course will provide an insight on the business case requisites (when to choose additive) for additive manufacturing over conventional manufacturing processes.

The Course will help you visualize seven different types of additive manufacturing processes, their workflows, pros& cons of each process and applications.

The course will benefit you in understanding various parts and operations of different Additive Machines (3D Printers) associated with different additive manufacturing processes.

The course facilitates thorough understanding of each of the Seven Additive processes exploiting 3D animation based visualization platform. You will be able to distinguish different additive processes and select an appropriate process for the given application.

You will be introduced to the post processing operations for each of the seven additive processes and their role in providing finished parts. The course discusses real life applications across different industries to appreciate the wide spread usage of additive manufacturing technology.

To reinforce all the learning, you will also go through an exam of multiple choice questions to test your knowledge acquired throughout the course. These questions are carefully prepared to further strengthen your knowledge of Additive manufacturing.
