This course will give the participants the framework for why students exhibit negative behaviors and then propose solutions for addressing them. The participants will be experiencing the same positive physical and emotional sensations that their students will experience the participants implement the techniques taught in the course. These sensations and experiences will give the participants a stronger understanding and connection to the children and how to create a positive classroom environment. This course demonstrates auditory, visual and kinesthetic techniques that meet many different learning styles. Participants will see these techniques in action and have an opportunity to apply them in real scenarios.

As a new teacher, not even one year experience, I can say these techniques changed my life! I really had no idea how to get the attention of kids. I am kinda shy and soft spoken when I am nervous and around people...even if they are just 3 years old. This gave me confidence and helped me to see kids as people who want my attention and need me to be at their level.

Absolutely spot on. I think the ego of the adult impairs so many from effectively managing behaviors. I caught your webinar on HiMama yesterday and am currently building a child care facility. I am so excited to hear you put words to what I have known for years, but haven't been able to articulate it like you did. I want this type of teacher in my center and looking forward to utilizing your training with all of them prior to our opening. With the hopes of educating and changing some adult responses to children.

I am the Preschool Coordinator for the Child Development Center Region 2. We work with a variety of kids that have different needs. Each classroom is 50/50 ratio, 1/2 on IEP and the other typically developing role models. Our curriculum includes the Pyramid model that focuses on Social Emotional Development. We have worked with Behavior Analysts on creating behavior plans for some of our children. What intreats me about Ron is his approach that we partially use in our program, but he breaks it down so simple steps/modeling that makes it seem so easy...Now the work begins by actually doing the actions in the classroom environments. I might even use this for my adult children at home:)

I couldn't find what I am looking for to solve my issues with my kids. This course is great for very young age but hard to recommend for over 5+ kids because their behavior and understanding became more developed.

I liked how examples were given to model exactly what to do with the different strategies. The introduction was a little long but I also have a hard time focusing. Thank you for sharing your techniques!

I work with preschoolers and took this training to learn more positive fun ways to deal with kids who do not want to listen. After a good introduction to this program including how expectations lead to upsets and changing 'should' language to 'could ' language, I enjoyed learning this 5 -part system of how to snag preschool children's attentions in the classroom. The pattern Interrupts of using funny accents, animal noises or even toning with them (Ommmm) seems very creative and I can see how they will help at transition times like clean up, getting ready for outside play and group times. I enjoyed learning the Power Look and how positive reinforcement can assist with Alpha children. I got bogged down with Section 6: Unique Positive Reinforcer in regards to having preschoolers do their own show on what their individual interests might be. I felt that this material would be better suited for older children like elementary schoolers. But on the whole, I did learn some new tools that I will share with teaching staff in my program. Thank you very much!
