So far this is very polished, and well delivered. The level of detail is sufficient. Some things are just soooo easy -- ONCE you know them. John demystifies WordPress quirks that you need to have someone show you, and then you're good to go! I like John's pace, and his delivery is very smooth,. He's obviously a professional and inspires confidence.

I really enjoyed your course. It was the most informative of all that I've taken. The only thing that threw me off was that I already bought my domain from Go Daddy and my hosting from Host Gator, so I wanted to know how to get my WordPress. I don't want to go through Host Gator and I tried from WordPress website, for some reason it wouldn't let me download the latest version. That's why I took some courses, I thought I was doing something wrong and you guys could show me how to get on WordPress, but no luck so far. But at least thanks to you if I ever do I know how to set it up now.....lol.

I already have a WordPress blog online but I needed a better grasp of the admin dashboard settings and features. John did an outstanding job of explaining the inner workings of a WordPress site/blog admin dashboard! I now have a better understanding of how I can use this knowledge to make sure my site is functioning properly. The course provides a good overview for a complete beginner. The domain and hosting sessions are focused on GoDaddy and Dreamhost, but once you got that out of the way you will be able to follow along no matter which hosting provider you are using. It is a beginner's course and each topic is only covered at a high level, however, it will definitely get you to what is needed to start a WP website from scratch with no prior experience.

A few of the screens have changed on some of the vendor websites which makes it a bit confusing. Godaddy.com has certainly tried to make it difficult for anyone to manage their own domain. Still, this is wonderful and I appreciate the step by step process and seeing every screen along the way.
