Master calculator skills to use to your advantage in solving mechanics problems.

Practice 100s of examples using the prescribed mechanics textbook and solution manual included in this course.

Gain a firm foundation in Engineering Mechanics for furthering your career.

Why take this course?

'The Complete Engineering Mechanics Course' makes complicated mechanics calculations easy!

This course includes video and text explanations of everything in engineering mechanics, and it includes more than 60 worked through examples with easy-to-understand explanations. 'The Complete Engineering Mechanics Course' is organized into five sections:

  1. Particle Equilibrium.

  2. Rigid Body Equilibrium.

  3. Structural Analysis.

  4. Centroids and Inertia.

  5. Internal Forces in Structural Members.

These are the five fundamental chapters in the study of engineering mechanics.

And here’s what you get inside of every lesson:

Videos: Watch over my shoulder as I solve problems for every single mechanics issue you’ll encounter in class. We start from the beginning... First I teach the theory. Then I do an example problem. I explain the problem, the steps I take and why I take them, how to work through the yucky, fuzzy middle parts, and how to simplify the answer when you get it.

Notes: The notes section of each theory lesson is where you find the most important things to remember. The notes include tips and tricks on how to study as well as how to save time in tests and exams. Ultimately, I cover everything you need to know to pass your class and nothing you don’t.

One-On-One Assistance: You can ask me for mechanics help in the Q&A section any time, any day whether it's related to the video content or another problem you're struggling with at home. Either way, I'm here to help you pass and do the best you possibly can!

If you already learned the math contained in this course, it will be a good refreshing. If you don't know the formulas, this is not for you. Formulas are not named to do a research if unknown, they are just introduced as "if you want to do this, use that formula", which is ok if you learned years ago and remember where it comes from. Also, within some hours, you can't teach engineering. So a better title would have been "math formulas for engineering tasks" ( as there also is no other engineering stuff like material science, which physics in the title could suggest ). There are many small mistakes in text and math, but I don't mind. The course instructor has got a clear and calm voice which is pleasant for a longer listening.

Presenter did not error-check his presentations - significant uncorrected mistakes in trig and cartesian videos. Can't comment on the rest yet as I haven't watched them.

Yes. It is good. But the rounding off when the last digit is 5, we have to consider the preceding number is even or odd ?? We are following that rule. Even excel doesn't follow that right?

It is slow going at first. My math is very fuzzy and there were no stated prerequisites about math skills. I have an open mind and I am trying not to be frightened by the math I am heading for. During the initial examples, more detail about the evaluation of the expressions would have been a good review for the mathematically challenged. I think I am getting it but it is very painful at this stage and I am hoping for the best.

Appreciate the clear way the calculations are demonstrated. Starts with review of the basics then advances into good structural analysis review.

This was a good course refresher. There were even a few things or ideas that I don't remember going over in my degree. The guy doing/showing the work went a little fast and didn't explain some things as well as I thought he should have (esp. for newcomers to engineering).

Create course, I would recommend it to others there need to refresh their knowledge or just simply wants to learn the basics, as me.

I am in my first year of mechanical engineering at Uni and I was struggling with a few key points. ~I bought the course in order to revise. It is money worth spent. The lecturer is excellent and it has helped me with my up coming mid term exams. I would highly recommend. I am really grateful for the lecture notes and the worked examples. Learnt just as much from these as I did from the course. Excellent and well done

It was a great learning experience. This course helped me to grasp good knowledge about Mechanics and with the help of this course you can further learn more about applied physics with ease! The best Mechanics course I have found online. 5 stars from me.

The tutor was able to portray the concepts better than the lecturer, giving me a better understanding of the work and much more confidence. The notes and examples done are much simpler to understand and grasp. I believe I gained more from these videos than I did in class.

There are errors in calculations and errors in pythagoras diagrams. Please fix them for future learners.

There were a handful of mistakes which make the course hard to follow thus far. Instructor uses mental math without explanation.
