The course provides some good information on how and when to use physical backups. The examples were simple to follow.

The facts were very useful. However the combination of both courses could have been summarized in about 15 minutes. The course is approximately: 35% " I will tell you this", 15% "here is why you want to do backups", 15% "here is what you paid for", 25% repetition of previous content, 15% "here is what I have told you". I have no doubt that his is a great course for some people - but for those of us who put it on 2X speed - I still found that I had to fast-forward about 60% of the lessons to get to the actual "here is how you do a backup" parts.

Thanks a god this videos have subtitles because the english pronuntiation is hard to follow, the course is just fine, but need to be more deeper on backup strategies, i not clear yet about if the base backup needs to be made all days or just once and if the wall files have rotation, how i know wich is my backup window to restore, postgreSQL have tools to review the wal files like pg_xlogdump, this tools aren't mentioned.

The course content is delivered well, but requires an update to cater for version 11 and there's no reason to split logical and physical backups into different courses

I got to master (I mean lean and experiment on) PostgreSQL physical archival methods i.e. How to use rsync to copy tablespace and PG data directory to a standby server, point in time recovery using PG's recovery.conf and how to make continuous archival configs on postgresql.conf file. Very helpful and recommendable!

I have gone through the what will cover in this course, and come to know that its not covering how to automate all the techniques, whereas while registering this course red it will be covering.
