What you will learn

Build an end to end Predictive Model In Azure Machine Learning Studio

You'll gain a high level background in data science.

You'll be able to effectively use Microsoft's AML service.

Description

There can be little doubt that the single hottest career in the data field is the data scientist or BI developer skilled in predictive analytics.

Yes, Big Data is on everyone’s lips but what happens after that big data is ingested into a data lake?

The answer is predictive analytics.

Because we live in the big data era, machine learning has become much more popular in the last few years.

Having lots of data to work with in many different areas lets the techniques of machine learning be applied to a broader set of problems.

Data can hold secrets, especially if you have lots of it.

With lots of data about something, you can examine that data in intelligent ways to find patterns.

This is exactly what machine learning does: It examines large amounts of data looking for patterns, then generates code that lets you recognize those patterns in new data.

Your applications can use this generated code to make better predictions. In other words, machine learning can help you create smarter applications.

Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML) is a cloud service that helps people execute the machine learning process.

As its name suggests, it runs on Microsoft Azure, a public cloud platform.

Because of this, Azure ML can work with very large amounts of data and be accessed from anywhere in the world. Using it requires just a web browser and an internet connection.

In this course you will be learning and building predictive algorithms using Azure Machine Learning Studio.

At the end of this course you’ll be able to build and evaluate a binary classification predictive model without authoring a single line of code

You’ll build an Experiment for a targeted email campaigned and be able to tell what customers should receive flyers and those that shouldn’t.

Thanks for reading about Azure Machine Learning Studio and I’ll see you in the course.

Overpriced content. Helps you understand what is Azure ML tool for now beginners. A course completion should make a learner move next level. But this one is video version a decent Codeproject article.

This is a very good introduction to the concept of Machine Learning as such. However this seems like an introduction to a course than a full course. The "intermediate level" in the description is misleading. This is clearly a beginner's or introductory course.

I found this course too basic , however, providing required information to set your course to using Azure ML . Instructor should have used basic, moderate and advanced examples in this course. Would have been well worth every dollar. That being said, I strongly recommend this course.

This is a GREAT introductory course. Before taking this course, I found AML very intimidating. Now, I am ready to jump right into it and learn more! Thank you!

I like the structure of the course (how non-programmers can use machine learning with azure, and the micro-overviews of analytics)..

Mike, I enjoyed the delivery method and as someone who has only basic Microsoft Access knowledge i was able to understand what is going on in the models.Any suggestions for a health analysts to learn or do you still advocate python.

I saw a screen that was blank, with a button that said "or Cancel", I clicked the white space and it brought me here. I would like to say that the course was informative and well taught. Thank you.

Short course which is just quick demo of the system. Little provided in terms of explanation of various items used in demo. Need to :- - spend more time on understanding result of experiment (none on first exp) - need more explanation on each module and why they are used especially the classification modules - explain why data is split - importance between training and eval data - how this can be used in real world scenarios.

I have been learning about Machine Learning through Python and R and have not found a good resource to learn about Azure ML. This course is providing me with what I need to learn about Azure ML.

Terminologies description could be detailed out, and use cases in brief from each algorithm categories would help.

Too little content coverage. sound and voice is not in sync for some parts of the lecture and not clear.

Good work explaining the concepts. The bike buyers experiment could have been more elaborate in terms of cleaning the data, explaining the data transformation and thereby trying to improve the accuracy of the model.
