What you will learn

Make structural designs more effectively using Autodesk tools

Create structure models in Revit

Run analysis and normative designs in Robot

Create plans of the structure in general quickly and efficiently

Make plans for structural detailing in Structural Detailing

Why take this course?

Draw, design and document your structure projects with REVIT

  • Enter the design field with BIM (Building Information Modeling)

  • Master the powerful drawing tools

  • Create your own templates

  • Export to calculation programs

  • Create and document plans

  • Create and analyze loads and reactions in structures

  • Present your results with quality plans in half the time.

#AulaGEO With this course you will learn how to take advantage of these tools so that the process of designing structures for buildings is faster, more efficient and of higher quality.

A new way to manage your projects

Revit software is the world leader in building design using BIM (Building Information Modeling), allowing professionals not only to generate plans but to coordinate the entire building model including design features. Revit is designed to include design tools for building structures.

  1. When you assign elements to a project, you can:

  2. Automatically generate floor plans, elevations, sections and final impressions

  3. Perform static calculations in the cloud

  4. Perform advanced calculations in specialized programs such as Robot Structural Analysis

  5. Create structural and analytical models

  6. Quickly create and document detail plans

  7. Improve your performance when working on a BIM model

Course Orientation

We will follow the logical order in which you would develop a personal project. Instead of considering each theoretical aspect of the program, we will focus on following the workflow that best suits a real case and give you some tips to achieve the best results.

You will get prepared files that will allow you to follow the progress of the course from where you consider it most necessary by guiding you to use the tools yourself while watching the classes.

The course content is updated regularly to include important updates or points that can help you improve your learning and you will have access to them in real time so you can improve your continuous skills.

Disclaimer:

From the 4 courses, the Robot section, the software interface used is in spanish; but the whole explanation of the instructdor is narrated in english.  We selected this from a spanish for the high teaching quality.

The Revit Structure and Steel Design courses are english both, the software interface and audio.

The video I just work through, Video 4. Half way through the right hand side was cut off, Did not show on video. And when the video started, a beam was drawn, with out any dicription on how it was done.

I appreciate the training on revit. I had earlier trained on robot structural analysis professional. Some insightful trucks herein. The aim of every designer is to communicate his/her work to clients through drawings. This training does not have a guide on how to prepare any drawings. It is a shocking omission. In addition, I would expect updates for recent versions.

This course is disappointing. The REVIT part is definitely the best part, but, when you expect from a SW course is beginning to the end, I mean, input to output. We don't get any output on REVIT, just translation to Robot; on Robot we basically spend most of the time on geometry modelling, that we had already done on REVIT, the actual design is poor, because the load application and load cases are extensive, but the actual output of all that work is little to non existent, I mean, I would expect at the end of the ROBOT part get a typical output from the SW. Even if was just to show! But the output is very confusing because "you can do this and that", but in the end you get nothing out of this... The Advance Steel is just an introduction, but again no output of sheets nor schedules... Please do better and please specify which norms are you using because I expected that a teacher from Barcelona was going to use Eurocodes and not the American norms...

The narrator is running over a topic, and I have the impression he does not know what he is explaining, better to say he is running over a text and has no idea about civil engineering (partly without a clear articulation which makes it uncomfortable to follow the course) I evaluate it as a poor online course bc there is no knowledge of teaching behind and every time there are some points that are poorly described then it takes a huge time to learn it by self from other resources.

The speaker speaks in English but he set the Robot program in Spanish language which is disappointing as I don't understand what he is clicking, language interface is written in Spanish. Also, the way he speak is not engaging and very boring.

When selecting icons, it should be visible on the screen. sometimes you are referring to some commands and we can't see where you are clicking.
