On one of the quiz questions, it claims that AI is not able to replace the creation of a budget, but that just is not true in the slightest. There are a multitude of AI-powered tools that are programmed solely to help with financial advising and budget planning. Besides that though, I think this course is a great way to introduce educators that have a limited understanding of AI's potential in the classroom.

WARNING: Do NOT get this course if you are looking for a course on how to integrate AI in your classroom. This course is, instead, information on the definition of AI, and the advantages and disadvantages of AI in an educational setting. This is a great course if you enjoy having someone read a textbook to you. The way this course could be infinitely better is if, after each slide, there was another slide that said, “For example…” then demonstrated how to complete a specific task using a specific AI-based app. Also, the course could have been extremely helpful if the assignments were something like: “Choose one of the ten methods we just went over and do it now for your particular classroom situation. You can use any of the following: Google forms, EdPuzzle, Quizziz, (etc.)” I was hoping the course would help empower me to improve my classes by giving me specific options and tools. I was mistaken.

The contents are pretty basic. It feels like watching an AI dictionary for teachers turned into a video. This is ok for teachers who have zero ideas about AI. This could have been better if per category of ethics in ai and uses of ai, there are concrete examples of the items as well as how it is applicable. There should also have been a demo on how teachers can use it. Youtube videos that are FREE have more essence.

This course was an excellent match for me as an educator because I learned that I am actually using AI tools already. By looking at the tools that can assist us in teaching, I can engage students, prepare students, and encourage students in their learning for their future careers. This course provided a great foundational understanding and excellent resources for building a deeper understanding of AI and how it can enhance education.
