This is much more of a follow along than a proper teaching course. That's not to say there isn't much to learn here but i found myself asking "but why are we doing this, why are we pressing this button, and why does this work this way" a lot and never really got the answers. But i definitely came out of this course wiser and more in tune with blender. Recommend if you have some knowledge of blender.

Danke Thomas

Yes, I need to pause often and yes, it is better with multiple screens... but gosh, this is certainly the best tutorial I have ever seen on Blender.

too much repetitive information. each lecture should be an opportunity to learn something new, but not to repeat "gee-zee-gee-zee-left-click-right-click" multiple times during each episode

The lectures are not very engaging. Amount of practical skills coming from this course are somewhat limited.

I really enjoyed the course. Before I bought it, I did the Donut and chair tutorial of the BlenderGuru. Without it, it would be kind of hard to follow this one. It would be nice if Thomas would explain a little more in advance what he will do. That would make it more understandable for people without so much experience. What I really liked that he made small assets, from simple to more elaborate. For example the chair tutorial of BlenderGuru is super advanced. So it's more fun of doing smaller parts instead of one big and elaborate chair. Anyway, I can recommend this course for everyone, but you have to have a basic knowledge to follow more easier.

This course taught me how to create and use Architectural layouts to design a bathroom, It was fun and detail oriented. I learned a lot of Blender tools and how to create realistic models using proper shading.

I'm really interested in the content but I find it's a lot all at once for someone like me, with no prior background in this software. It's great to have these videos to look back on, but I would personally have appreciated smaller chunks. (Also, since I'm a Mac user, I'm not sure if there are any differences with the interface but I'm finding some of the mouse options he's talking about very difficult.)

One thing that's sometimes frustrating is that there is a lot of "follow the leader" to do a lot of tiny extrusions in quick succession without an explanation of what's being accomplished by each. It's not clear what will have been done (or why) until all steps are completed. This would be fine either if it was a little slower and clearer (to help with listening while actually controlling Blender myself), or keep the same pace but describe what each step is, e.g. "now extrude the main body of the pipe, and left-click to stop that there. We're about to create an indented ring that will represent the coupling shaft to the part of the tap that turns, so start off with a small extra extrusion at the end to create a tighter edge, before we extrude again and scale inwards to step down to a narrower pipe diameter, and don't forget another small extra extrusion to keep that tight curve..." or something like that.

The course is good, not too complicated, but it provides all basic modelling techniques for any interior design projects.

Quick and to the point. Really very very helpful in every way. Enjoyed the learning experience. I didn't know anything about Blender but I know I feel like I can do anything with the programme, in just 3 weeks!!!! Thank you Thomas and Udemy, looking forward to the next course

Great course. I've been using Blender off and on for 5 or so years and I decided to get back into it. The course covers a lot with default Blender and the add-ons. I think this would be good for a beginner and someone who wants to brush up on there skills.

In my opinion this course is a great way to get introduced with Blender and Its architectural tools, the course is well organised and videos aren't too long, which makes the learning effective. Finally I consider myself as an intermediate user and I still learnt useful tips from this course (mostly with all the architecture plugins and so on). So I would recommand the course to the people who aren't familiar with 3D architecture using Blender.

Interesting course. Detailed explanations of the various architectural design tools available in Blender. What you learn here will be useful in any context you use Blender for, not just architecture. I especially enjoyed the materials sections.

I got what I wanted, clearly explained but I felt a bit "meh" sometimes. The instructor definitly says too many "okay" and "ok", and a few things are not correctly said, but you figure it out by checking what he's clicking. It is not a blender course so to say, but nicely teaches you a few technics and addons to achieve some greatness in architecture. Overall a good course, and a good instructor EDIT Btw, it's not the window's glass panel normal that is inverted, it's the whole windows that is inside out. The handle are outside and you have the curtains inside...
