iPhoneとAppleWatchを連携したアプリを初歩から学ぶのに良い。
バージョンが古いため所々で躓くため、iPhoneとAppleWatchの対応バージョンを下げ、この講座に合わせるようにして私は学習しました。
全編英語ですが、XCodeの操作や記述内容を真似るだけでもアプリケーションを作ることができます。
英語が理解できれば、口頭でたくさんの補足がされているので、より良い学びを得ることができると思います。

Really great course for getting started!
Nick is a really great and funny instructor, and from his course I've learned the main stuff about apple watch.
I really suggested it to you if you want to know the basics of the Apple Watch and you already know something in iOS!

Instructor at times inaccurate in referencing xcode functionality and wha some features do. Leaves the impression that he may not really know the material fully.

I have subscribed to dozens of Udemy courses, and may of them by Nick (Rick), but this is the first one that I have done in its entirety. Normally, I just watch what I need to get me going on my current project. This time however, I knew nothing about watchkit so I figured I had better go through them all. I have nothing bad to say at all. It was all great stuff and I think I can use everything that was taught as I hook up my new iOS app to my watch. There are a couple of things that I need to read up on that were not covered. Specifically, how do I hook up the requirements for watchkit to an existing app, and secondly, how can I pass information from my iOS app to the watch. Isn't that what google is for? Thanks Nick for an outstanding course.

To anyone holding off or not knowing if this is the right course for WatchOS development ... Don't wait! This course rocks.
Nick has a pleasant way of explaining things, including talking in details for anything that goes on during course projects. The fact that he also encounters errors, because of forgetting things, is another bonus, because it shows the audience common issues most programmers encounter.
Don't wait. I didn't and finished it already.
Having build already apps, this course gave me more knowledge on how to make my WatchOS app talk to my iOS app. I am able to apply everything I have learned from this course into my WatchOS app. The CoreData lectures in the Distraction Journal app is also a huge bonus.
I am off to his next course already :)

As an iOS developer I was looking for a course that covers how to make an apple watch app without looking at the iOS basics.
