Why take this course?

This course is designed to give you a deep understanding of the core values needed to be able to program, troubleshoot, and have the deepest knowledge of Rockwell Automation PLC controls with RSlogix 5000 or Studio 5000. This course starts from scratch and builds up element by element to give the very best detail about PLC controls.

This is the best course in 2021 for a detailed Rockwell Automation PLC training program like this before for the cost and I highly doubt that there will be anything close to this unless I am the one who makes it. Continuously raising the bar is my mission and I encourage you to join my journey.

As part of making this course the best, I will be adding revisions or videos from time to time to add more sections but as it sits right now there are over 20 hours of video training about RSLogix 5000 and Studio 5000 controls.

I have a very successful YouTube channel about PLC programming and run a website to assist with this effort as well which is called Online PLC Support...Just Google "Online PLC Support" & visit our Facebook page

OnlinePLCSupport is our website that offers a lot of free training along with our YouTube channel "Shane Welcher" & our Facebook page of "OnlinePLC Support".

You can also find me on LinkedIn at Shane Welcher Sr.

The videos are not specifically made for the course: it's a mix of youtube, patreon and udemy videos. There's no continuity in test projects, it will make you create structures for doing examples, then not use them in the following videos. The versions of Logix/Studio 5000 keeps on changing between videos. There's no focus on easy or hard subjects: PID is just thrown in there, while how to use timer is repeated at least 20 times. Block 56 and 61 are a repetition, as one is from a youtube video and the other one for the udemy course. Overall I'm learning what i need to, but there's plenty of space to improve on the course (especially by not recycling stuff from other platforms)

I think this course meant for people who already have some knowledge or they used old version of the allen bradley plc program, but defiantly not for beginners

Parla in maniera poco chiara e ripete mille intercalari mentre dice una cosa, e diventa davvero difficile provare a capire cosa stia dicendo. Mi sono pentito di aver acquistato questo corso

I went from being a pretty good electrical technician to being a successful OEM installer/troubleshooter after taking most of this course. After using this knowledge in the field for a few years I decided to revisit. There is a wealth of knowledge here and I recommend this to anyone looking to learn Allen Bradley.

A little informal for a paid course but I'm learning things. Pace is a bit slow being I don't really care to hang to watch people type notes that should have been done ahead of time.

It seems like the instructor gets off task very easily while explaining something, and needs to correct his course mid flight. Also he seems to over convolute his examples, for example, instead of making a simple routine under the main routine, he creates a whole separate task which he then links through the properties to become a second "main routine" --this was a little off-putting

Smart instructor. Very experienced. Too much time spent watching him troubleshoot his programming errors. Maybe if he didn't decide to do all these videos stream of consciousness style and took time beforehand to outline what he was about to teach he could cut the length of these videos down and not be so confusing. Also, I wouldn't suggest a true beginner to PLC programming watch this series. Too much skipping around. Not very logically structured to take one from knowing nothing to having some familiarity.
