So happy that I found John Greene's courses! Only after them I started making progress in learning math. His teaching style is unique: very engaging, great contents and order of topics, amazing practice parts!! I'm 30+ y.o. and just started learning math from scratch for programming. I'm so grateful for these courses as they give me hope it will be possible. Ability to use math in code gives limitless creative possibilities! Thank you and best wishes!

Absolutely loved this course. The videos have a lot of detail in them with every question explained with great patience by the instructor. The structure of the course is also perfect. I was looking for a refresher course to brush up my algebra fundamentals and I'm glad I found this one. Definite thumbs up.

I've struggled with math in the past. I really wish I had a teacher like this before. A good teacher is just as important as a good student. I hope you make additional courses beyond Pre-Calc. You may help me finally get my BS in EE.

Sir, the course is super. A suggestion: Could you further teach the concepts more fundamental like how the each concept work and the fundamental notion behind it, derive each formula, if you can do that, it would be great, sir. Thank you, Sir. Edit: Sir, could you create a seperate for each concept in which you explain the concept more in detail and about how they work, history, logic behind it, how to think like it, etc. I understand that you want to make algebra 1 as simple as possible, but sir could you provide a option where one could learn in more detail if he wish to do so! Thank you, Sir. Edit 2: Sir, iam requesting you to make videos on each concept about how things work, logic behind it, like the history of its discovery, how to think like a mathematician, how a person thought and discovered this formula, real world applications, etc. Example: Sir, For example. You said in the inequalities episode that we've to flip the symbol to get the correct value, you could further clarify it by discussing about why it happens. I would like to have a video on each concepts which you delve into the concept much more deeply. Thank you, Sir. Edit 3: Ok sir. I would look on reading the history of mathematics. Thank you, Sir. Thanks for your great course.

It's great to hear that you find the teaching and examples easy to understand! Effective communication of complex concepts is an important aspect of education and can greatly impact a student's understanding and retention of the material. In the past, traditional teaching methods may have focused on rote memorization and repetition, but modern educational approaches prioritize explaining concepts in a way that makes sense to the learner. By incorporating real-world examples and breaking down complex ideas into manageable parts, it can help students see the relevance and applicability of the material and build a deeper understanding. Additionally, technology has also played a significant role in changing the way we learn. With the widespread availability of online resources and multimedia tools, students can access educational content from anywhere, at any time, and in a format that works best for them. It's great that you're taking advantage of these resources and taking the time to continue your education. Learning is a lifelong journey and there is always something new to discover!

Clear and concise explanations, excellent examples, and no fluff or unnecessary things dragging the videos out. Exactly what I needed to review algebra before I get into the trigonometry videos.

Super well explained and very easy to understand! One thing, in lesson 24 it is said that the plane flew 75 miles per hour. This is wrong, planes do not fly in miles, they fly in knots! Thank you.

(t's really good, but I think you can shorten the lesson a bit, like stop repeating things that we have already learned.

I have always struggled with math. John has done a great job of breaking the topics of algebra down into a form that anyone can understand. He includes so many examples and all of his worksheets and quiz questions are fully solved with video solutions. The few times I needed extra help, John answered my question in less than 1 hour. I couldn't have asked for a better course. Great Job John!

This is an excellent match for me because he keeps going over the basics which really helps me remember them. I like that if I don't understand a test problem I can go and see how he did it in the next chapter. Well done!
