Interesting course, unfortunately with an old version of Alfresco. Subtitles are not relevants/usables

The course sends what it promises: You go from knowing nothing about alfresco to become an adminsitrator at a decent level of knowledge. Although, there are several things that I didn't really like. The course's alfresco version is deprecated, Alfresco 6.2 is the current version as time of writing (May 2021). Also, all documentation about Alfresco 5.2 was deleted and nowhere to be found! The teacher has a high comprehension about Alfresco, but he falls short in his video making skills. Sometimes I had to wait long while he was wating a file to download, or while he waits alfresco to restart. Also the structure of the course was confusing in later chapters. I think that the chapter 18}: configuration should be the last one, due to its complexity and elements that are introduced later in the course! TL;DR: You get to know fully how to manage alfresco and its elements: content, users, groups, etc. You should do the section 18 last! And anyways the documentation of alfresco 5.2 is non-existant because it's an old version.

This was an excellent course, the repeated exercises really enforced where the configurations exist and how to manage the system from installation to integrations, most helpful was the live third party tools like Apache DS, FAKE SMTP and so forth. Thank you

Instructor seems well-versed in the subject matter, easy to listen to too. Learning some new things after having worked as a developer in Alfresco for several years. Can't wait for the developers course!

Good content with terrible captioning. In my humble opinion, someone should urgently review closed captions.

Good match so far. The transcriptions sadly remind me of "Bad Lipsync" on the Web. Another example: Google Docs is transcribed as "good girl docs." Makes the transcription almost useless

Sinn und Zweck sowie die Motivation für die einzelnen Lektionen werden nicht explizit benannt. Dafür ist jeder Schritt gut nachäffbar, was hoffentlich irgendwann zur Anwendungsfähigkeit führt.

I'm impressed about all what I've learnt thanks to Martin, he's explaining everything step by step, as it should be. His examples and activities are based on real world needs and usage of the platform. What I would really miss, is the possibility to have the developer course, that's what I was mainly aiming for after taking this course. With his experience and ideas, that dev. course would be the last piece of the maze. Thank you Martin
