Great course for beginners! You watch Kellie make this beautiful sunset on tile first and you actually believe you can now do it, too!! Then she moves to Yupo paper and you get a whole new experience. Not only does she show you the difference in the flow of the inks on the two different materials but she expands on the lesson you just learned on tile...she shows you how to add in storm clouds that are amazing. If that wasn't enough, she gives you a bonus lesson at the end on painting trees. You will really enjoy this course!!

At most the content so far should be divided into 2 lessons. Offering 2 minute lessons where 30 sec. of each is devoted to the into and end music is a waste of time.

Kellie is very thorough in her instructions and encourages students to try techniques on their own to get the feel of this medium. She’s exceptionally easy to listen to and follow and seems like someone you wouldn’t be afraid to approach. She also throws offers instructions for framing and displaying our art, as well as some bonus material. She makes me feel co fortable and as if I can handle this strange medium, but she doesn’t dumb down her offerings. I felt comfortable but challenged.

I bought the course to learn to paint. A lot of the time was listening to music & looking at the Kellie Chase page. As well a lot of the course was framing which wasn't what I wanted to learn and some extras I've already seen for free on line elsewhere. Also there was some trouble getting the course to play. Not sure it was worth it!

I liked the course itself, but I find how the video is filmed very annoying. The music and advertising at the beginning and end of each very small segment makes the class very choppy and distracting. I would rather the whole class is filmed together and people can pause the video whenever they need to. I won't be buying another class if this is the format for all of them.

I think the instructions and demos were clear and very well presented. The teacher is obviously good at what she's doing and explains things well. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star rating is because of the ridiculous number of times, and the resulting amount of time, that I spent looking at your logo page, complete with the most awful repetative music playing! I already bought the class. I don't want my time wasted by having to sit through your logo page a multitude of times! Once at the beginning and once at the end is sufficient. And please, remove that music. It got so irritating, I spent half the class time considering just dumping this class altogether.

This was a fun, relaxing introduction to playing with alcohol inks. I loved that in a short amount of time, I completed paintings on two different surfaces. I enjoyed Kelli's teaching style and I will be trying more of her classes. I especially appreciated the segments on sealing and displaying. Thanks Kelli!
