Description

If you can understand my language in the promo video, I GUARANTEE you of an awesome journey of learning. Else, ENTIRE MONEY will be refunded - EVEN AFTER 30 DAYS!

"Fundamentals of Airplane Engineering"

You don't need to have a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering to understand working of Airplanes!

[ All students are promised to get reply to their queries within 24 HOURS in this course ]

This course is all about learning the working of airplanes right from basics. The course will take you on a journey in which you will learn all about airplanes piece by piece. We will take the journey in four parts. I also promise you of within - 24 hour - reply - to - any - genuine - query, so that your learning is concrete.

STEP 1: We will take a passenger airplane standing on a runway and understand its different components - engines, wheels, landing gear, main body structure etc.

STEP 2: We will turn the engine on and let the airplane move forward. During this period we will learn all about the flight. How a plane flies and what actually is needed for a successful flight to happen. We will also bust some very common myths surrounding this topic. This will involve an experiment which students can do at home.

STEP 3: Now the airplane is flying, we will see different components and their working, which helps the airplane to take various turns and undergo variety of motions.

STEP 4: Finally, we will jump in some other topics that are important for any airplane to work smoothly. Air Traffic control, Black Box, Cockpit, How exactly the pilot does the controls.

I will not be using unnecessary jargon and terms that only an engineer will be knowing! The journey will be for people from variety of backgrounds. So even if you are a person involved in photography, or making websites or travelling through forests, you can happily enroll in the course, if you have interest in knowing about Airplanes!

The course will be mostly in form of video lectures, where I will be explaining the different components using diagrams on whiteboard. For very complicated diagrams, I will be including images and pdfs so that your understanding can become concrete. It can take a total of 2-2.5 hours for completing the entire course.

To make this more interesting, I promise to reply to each and every genuine queries of the students, irrespective of the level of toughness of the query! I wish to have every student enrolled in the class, enjoy this journey with me.

At the end of the course, you will have a strong understanding of what happens inside and outside the airplane and how different components work together in making a airplane the way they are!

Come, join me in this beautiful journey!

You can include more detail and also can add few analysis on crashes of airplanes to make it more interesting.

This is a very basic course, not the level of depth I expected. The instructor is well intentioned and motivated, but a white board sketch of an airplane is not inline with an engineering program.

Great Lecturer, explaining well. Adding segmented videos to show the moving parts with animations might add more excitements to the subject if you have time to do the intimations.

I'm glad I purchased it at a discount. This course has a generally positive and beneficial overview. My background is in manufacturing engineering, so I hoped there would be more equations.

He uses simple language that even a layman can easily understand. That is good, excellent presentation. It is also very illustrative and informative.

I just got used to your accent, now that it clicked I understand you perfectly. Great stuff! I feel like taking a minute to slow down and understand what you made me acknowledge explicitly the logic of what you were saying. I have had many different kinds of teachers so I appreciate this. Keep on rocking IMO, $10 well spent.

This is another great course by Arjit Raj after 'Fundamentals of Automobile Engineering'. This teaches you the very basics of how airplanes work, from taking off, manoeuvring, to landing, while also explaining the physical concepts behind. It was totally worth the time and money I invested, as I got to learn a lot of new things which I was not sure where to learn from, in the first place. All in all, a great experience learning from such a passionate teacher!

I have been an avid reader of your answers and blog on Quora. Thanks for this awesome teaching experience. Personally I feel you could have explained the concepts of Gasoline engines and Diesel engines in a more comprehensive way i.e., explain how compression takes place (wasn't explained), how after ignition the gases expand and why etc., as these concepts are difficult to follow for people from non-mechanical backgrounds. Overall a great experience. Keep sharing your knowledge. Thanks Manoj

Thank you Arjit to share with us your knowledge. I followed your course to learn more about fly technique for my hobby, drone. Do you think to create a course on the SAPR physic? Thank you very much! Roberto

Raj, you have a beautiful skill of explaining things in a manner that even a person who has never read a bit about that topic could understand it. The course has been well made and topics have been arranged in a nice order. It was engaging to learn. Of course, the experiment was nice and the demonstrations too. I really got a strong learning from this course. In one word: Outstanding! In two words: Beautiful Journey!

Raj, you have done it again and this time in a new style! I must say, I never believed that understanding the airplane could be possible without spending a year on it. You made it, seem like a journey. Pre-take off, take off, flying, landing and finishingit with really cool stuffs. The best part was that of the experiment and the demonstration. Even in many universities, I think students have not "experienced" a flight. You not only busted the myths and explained the flight, but also made us feel and realize it! Thanks a ton! Will wait for your next course.
