Symbols for transformer are not per North America standard Isolators are called either disconnect switches or disconnectors Center rotating isolator is a double end break or double side break disconnect switch

Great introduction course for electrical substations, the explanations and animations were clear to understand the concepts. However, practical design is missing to be a complete substations design course. Thanks!

I was able to improve on my skill set and it will go a long away of making me better in my professional career but I was also looking forward to the following on this course or other courses : 1- Autorecloser breakers and how they operate remotely using SCADA system 2- How to build load flow model ; load analysis and analysis using etap and skm etc 3- Protection relays coordination and calculations and implementation in a real work applications situation 4 - Calculation examples which engineers can tailor and applied in their situations 5- Advises on short courses and text books on substation design to expand on the course . Finally the course was really helpfull and I look forward to your another course on power system .
