I liked it, I learned from it, although I'm experienced in the field. It's very briefed which is good, but I wish if he was a bit slower!! but I'm wondering why Udemy doesn't give a certificate after?!!

Before taking this course, i had little knowledge on Art directing but now i have learnt a lot of things and methods related to art directing and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to take this course to improve their career.

Firstly, this course is well worth the money. At the time of writing, it is fairly unique on udemy, and after completing it I really did feel more confident designing across an entire campaign. The image compositing and Photoshop techniques are GREAT, and could stand alone and still be worth it. You know the Hovering Art Director ad from Adobe? I now really feel that I could make the ginger beer image from that commercial at a relatively good speed. AWESOME. Minus one star: FLASH banner stuff is a bit out of date, coming from someone who learnt to make them with Animate/HTML5, but nothing an update can't fix. And the tips for making them quickly still apply, so I still picked up a few tricks. My other recommendation would be during the sections dealing with making the key visual - this needs to be slower and it would be great if keyboard shortcuts flashed on the screen when they are used. I had to watch several times before it all stuck, but again, TOTALLY worth it considering how much I learned. Great work, and thanks so much!

The explanations are too fast, to get something – you have to rewind back and back. Even when the author shows technique for the first time – he rewind forward and it feels incomplete how he did some parts of, for example selecting and masking. So the course arise more questions than answers. I stopped at the Key Visual part. Better go and check for some Graph Design courses at Coursera

I love the full scope of campaign development the instructor goes through from key visual to different forms of promotional materials. The design techniques section was a bit fast to grasp. Maybe illustrating his steps one by one, especially in regards to the lighting techniques used. I also thought the Flash section was outdated as has lost popularity in the industry, perhaps showing how to make animated ads with html5 programs would be more current. Overall, enjoyed this course very much.

Very informative and inspiring course. Gives me a more detailed knowledge and technical know-hows on advertising for different mediums. After finishing this course, I feel motivated create better ads with more impact and meaning. The process of the creative brief explained here is really useful and easy to follow and can really help prevent or manage the stress.

The instructor is indeed knowledgeable and I am sure he is doing great at his work. However, the course is dry and lacks of details. I believe this course could have been better. I did like the course and the content therein, but I as mentioned earlier, I felt it did lack of details and most importantly the engagement. I hope the instructor comes back with an updated version of the course. And uses Adobe XD to create newsletters, html pages, etc.

Tudor was a great instructor and he even replied when i had questions on a few of steps. I liked this course because i learned a lot and exactly about what i was looking for (art direction). There's a lot of composition tutorial, but this one talks about it in advertising. Very practical, very recommended. Totally worth it.

I was curious about the Photoshop part and it is truly something new to me. The lighting of the elements makes them so tied up together. Great tips on Photoshop use.
