For getting Stripe up and running for a single item payment - the course accomplishes this. However, the database .sql file could have been provided in the resources section which could've quickened the process. Though being able to send data to Stripe and to MySQL simultaneously is very valuable.

Yannick's course on Stripe is detailed, accurate and provides some basic building blocks to work from when developing a payment gateway. However, from a "real world" perspective it leaves a BIG gap as it assumes a perfect world where every payment is successful ... it does not provide a single reference on how to detect inevitable conditions which will cause a card to be rejected, such as: insufficient funds, lost and stolen cards, network communication faults or any other error conditions that could be returned from Stripe when processing a payment. Apart from this gap in the course, I would reiterate that it does a good job with the foundation code to connect and process a valid transaction with Stripe.
