After trying to learn PhotoShop on my own for several weeks, I finally had the sense to sign up for a class instead. I would consider myself a beginner because I spent a week or two with PhotoShop over a decade ago and I hadn't looked at the program since. Prior to taking this class, I would become frustrated every time I attempted (and failed) to achieve something, even the simplest tasks. I just had no idea how to start. When you are that clueless, YouTube and Google are still challenging because you might not know how to phrase your search. After just a handful of lessons from this course, my work was already looking much more professional and it was taking me less than half the time. I have stopped feeling dread when I open up PhotoShop. I appreciate the way the instructor explained things. As an added bonus, the instructor was mindful to mention tools that graphic designers use frequently vs hardly ever use. I found this helpful. Like a gentle, "Hey, pay attention!" Other times, if a tool is rarely used, the teacher said "You can look at this on your own time." I prefer this method, especially because PhotoShop has *so* many options. Even in these cases, the instructor still named the tool and briefly explained why you would use it. Most of the time, she demonstrated them also and showed how to use them, including shortcuts for fast accessibility. Also, I like the way the course is split up because if I ever need to revisit a topic, it is extremely easy to find again. Many of the chapters in the modules are short, making them easy to navigate. The course is organized in an intuitive way. I would recommend this class to anyone who thinks that PhotoShop can help them up their game. There are now many jobs that list PhotoShop as a required skill or bonus skill, I can see this being invaluable to jobseekers and/or creatives.

This instructor is hard to understand, and she mispronounces a lot of words. I am struggling to learn anything from this course. No explanation of what to do if the tools aren't working the way she says they will or any kind of information regarding that.
