This course is confusing in the extreme. You need to redo it. 1. If I understand correctly, there was an initial course (new referred to as the old course) and a new updated course. These have apparently been combined. I had started the old course and now I don’t know where to jump back in or if what I am currently viewing has already been covered. 2. The course appears to cover LR Classic and LR CC and which is which is not immediately obvious. 3. There is reference to a crash course and the real course and which is which is not immediately obvious. The instructor, in the crash course’ is constantly saying ‘We’ll cover that later in the real course.’ That’s distracting and constantly reminds me that maybe I am wasting time in the crash course. 4. The mish-mash you have created is discouraging me from even trying to finish the course, since it is not organized in any logical fashion. I am wondering if the later lessons are going to be as disjointed as the early ones. If so, I’d be wasting my time trying to follow them.

Yes, it is allowing me to go back and fill in gaps. I had paid for some private LR instruction to get going with certain tasks I needed for work. But a lot was purposefully glossed over in that process.

Excellent - but it remains somewhat of a challenge to navigate through all the different versions of Lightroom. Not the course's fault as it attempts to fill the gaps and highlight the differences between them, but perhaps a course should focus on a specific product. I had to continuously try and find the equivalent function in Lightroom Cloud/desktop when the course talks to CC.

I very disappointed with the course due to the fact that Lightroom Classic CC and Lightroom Cc are presented as one subject. Please make this fact available before hand to prospective students. It is time wasting to listen modules that are based on Lightroom Classic.

This is a very informative course. I have been working in the Visual Fx industry doing cinema style colorgrading and thought I would take this course for a change to see how I can enhance my knowledge about colorgrading from a photography standpoint and Phil has taught me a couple of things that I tend to overlook when compositing film. Thanks Phil and can't wait to complete the course and learn more.

I thought I was signing up for LR CC and this is starting out with LR classic. I DO NOT want classic. What am I missing? Better yet, what is UDEMY missing when you advertise one course and it's covering something else.

This course feels like it was developed over 5 years ago and it shows. I am using Lightroom CC and realized at some point to start in Section 8 because the first sections only apply to classic Lightroom. If that solved the problem, I would be fine with it, but I am in the section talking about adding to a mask and none of the video instructions are working as the software has clearly updated. This course listed that it was recently updated but still is not really useful if you are using the most current version of Lightroom CC.
