Awful. He went right into installing Author and Publish instance without explaining what are these for and why we do have them. And then he did not even bother to explain the command line Java command to run them other than he set the memory to a higher value. No explanation what each of the command flags do. He did not even mention in the introduction that he will use Intellij as the IDE.

It gives a fair deep content on a lot of different tools, architectures and concepts to understand better aem. It helps to know a litte about aem first, but it is defenitely not a must.

There needed to be more explanation on what DE Lite, Config Manager, package manager are. Author dove right into it expecting to be aware of the terms and tools. There were mentions of Servlets, Pages, Events etc but no intro on where and why should they be used. Like what is the best use case.

I think it is a good course, but it does not go deep enough into some topics that at least for me are of great interest, as an introduction to a basic level it fulfills its purpose

Anfang ist Programmierenden Level erforderlich und nur Copy/Paste mit keiner Vermittlung des generellen Konzepts. Die Teile über Bedienung des Backends, was ich mir erhofft hatte, sind oberflächlich, hektisch und ohne jegliche Konzeptvermittlung. Backendaufbau, Backendnutzung um alleine AEM Projekte umzusetzen ist hier Fehlanzeige. Selbst 13 € sind hier rausgeschmissenes Geld.

This is an excellent course! Thank you very much for sharing this valuable information. I can say that this is not a course for absolute beginners. Pupils must have some knowledge about AEM to fully understand all the explained concepts. I would add more exercises that the pupil could do in their personal PCs. Another thing that would be appretiated is adding quizes, questions and answers

For anyone new to AEM, it is hard to understand lectures. Like on which path do we need to run which command? What other debugging options available etc

I don't recommend this course it just teaches concepts, it you can find on youtube or adobe tutorial, the course will not help you develop a website on the AEM platform, which I believe is what everyone expects in a course. if one day they add a project either in HTL or SPA I'll change my classification.

Just copy and paste commands that don't provide any context of why those are being executed. Update: I give 1 start since I was right.. all the lectures are just copy and paste code. Still no explanation what the purpose of the code is... totally not worthy. I doubt from where these ratings are coming from.. I'd rather recommend to find other courses, even the example given from Adobe's official site explain more than this overall course.

Great Course, decent coverage of Topics.And Prompt responses for all the Questions i felt thats the Important thing. With Author adding new content i am sure this will help people who are looking for gaining knowledge on AEM Platform. One suggestion would be to have atleast one session on AEM Repo tool Installation and usage of same in IDE on Windows, will be really great. I am sure it will benefit lot of Windows user's out there. As personally i felt github instructions didn't seem to be obvious.

This course touches all the major aspects of AEM 6.5. An absolute must for someone who either wants to know AEM or an existing AEM professional who wantws to brush up his skills on AEM. As an AEM Architect I found this course very helpful to brush up my skills
