This was a decent beginner course for editing and proofreading. It was very simple and easy to understand, however I feel that some topics could have been more in depths and more specific examples could have been used to make clearer points.
It was very hard to understand the teacher. He could barely speak English and was pronouncing words wrong.
It gave a good overview of the concepts and what their general idea is. It's a beginning level course.
A lot of information, and some things were repeated. This was very thorough and concise which made it easy to navigate and understand.
I am really enjoying the course so far. Dr. Sharma is engaging and easy to understand and delivers truly relevant information. I feel like I will have learned a tremendous amount by the time the course is over.
This course is suitable for you if you have no previous experience in editing and proofreading. The only thing that I didn’t like is the extensive focus on the writing process more than the editing one. But, in general, the course was good and to the point.
I can highly recommend this course for every new and advice writer that want to learn the core essence of Proofreading and editing as a freelance career or as a way to critically edit your own work.
It's a decent course but I found some of it a little dry. Also I was using the transcript to follow along and there were a few misspellings and likely auto-generated words that didn't coincide with the actual lecture.
Very short and compact course on editing and proofreading. Extremely helpful not just for writing, but for creating a course and more. So many tools that you might have expected to remember but wouldn't. The course is provided in a very structured manner and you can get used to applying these tools in the same structured order without forgetting to a step in the future.
Great, I didn't know that I was missing many steps to the editing process. He speaks slowly and clearly. The subtitles are 95% accurate
As a person who has written over 50 published articles I still found a lot of useful info in this presentation to make future writings even better. Thank you!
