Most of us know what to eat and do for our health, so why are most of us still struggling with our weight and health issues. It's because the answer doesn't lie with what food choices we make or the latest diet or fitness regime but our thinking and behavioural approach to our eating habits. The course instructor has done a brilliant job of putting this course together in a structured simple format. The questions and resources are very helpful and designed to be printed out and answered outside of using the course so that we can practice CBT on healthy eating habits on a daily basis. I have looked for many courses about healthy eating habits and this one is the best one. What we act out stems from our reaction to our thinking and beliefs. Thank you.

No form of therapy should encourage people to lose weight to be more attractive to others. There were a few reasons and examples that implied that thinner is more attractive and desirable. For a therapy course I found this pretty disappointing. We shouldn't be encouraging our clients to mold into a societal norm "to be more attractive" or "thinner". We should be encouraging healthy habits for longevity, increased energy, and more motivation to be successful in their goals. If losing weight is a goal of the client's it is NOT up to the counselor to assume WHY the client has this goal. Disordered eating should never be treated with the idea that fat=bad, unattractive, or shameful.

Direct to the point and very interesting workshop. I would like to suggest to include some short stories to reflect more on the main sections.

Very helpful course and well support to those, who want to change sabotaging beliefs and habits related to food and eating. Not too long, not too short. I would give max stars, if there would be more examples of rational beliefs and audio recording with them, for listening. Anyway, I highly recommend the course!

I was really looking forward to this class, but am disappointed because I cannot understand everything the instructor is saying. Plus, the slides accompanying the lectures are blurry and hard to read. I believe the content might be good but accessing this is too difficult. I discovered that I could read a transcript and that made it easier to finish the course.

I have had successful weight loss in past and it was creeping back slowly so I looked up Udemy for a course. I knew that I already had the "technical" knowledge of dieting and needed some different way to approach it as I was trying the same and moving in a circle. This course has helped me get that clarity and insight.

Interesting and motivating course, would have liked more structure in the application of the CBT process, and examples for all possible cognitive distortions, but it's a good course overall and I recommend it :)

Yes this is a refresher for me - just what I need to reflect on. I have been using some of the techniques and am making progress with my eating challenges. I am actually stopping and thinking about what I put in my mouth - and the majority of the time making the right decision. The coping cards are a great idea!

Tarique has a strong understanding of CBT, and how to apply it to the process of nutrition and the process of losing weight. Interesting insight into how we think, with some tips on how to change our thinking around food. Thanks Tarique, recommend to anyone who is struggling with understanding why they feel powerless over food, and how to move past it.

Dr. Tarique Sani did a great job with creation of this course and giving us real world applications. He broke this down into a way that made it easy to understand and to start apply right away in life. I think this course was fantastic and I do hope he creates more! I highly recommend this course to everyone.

The course helps break the pattern of "dieting" that most people fall into as a consequence of media pressure and disinformation. It helps one understand the real reasons behing eating patterns and addictions, which are easier to change after awareness sets in! I recommend this for anyone struggling with food addiction and/or obsession as well as the ideas and techniques can be adapted and applied to any situation.

Easy to follow instruction. I was surprised to know that CBT could be applied to things like eating properly. This is quite a revelation. The instructor has done a good job by explaining with examples. The course itself is very comprehensive and well-made.
