Wow! What an incredible journey this has been in getting to know and understand The 8 Limbs of Yoga. Without a doubt, Evita Ochel is the BEST teacher around and I have signed up for more of her courses. Since undertaking Evita's course, Cook Real Food: How to Make Simple Plant-Based Meals, I naturally became interested in yoga again as a result. I had just bought Donna Farhi's book, Yoga Mind Body & Spirit and was amazed to see that it was listed as one of Evita's book recommendations. Talk about synchronicity! I LOVE the 1 hour yoga class Evita included in this fabulous course. This course taught me that there is way more to yoga than just the postures. When I began doing yoga again, I had a deeper and much richer experience this time and began to feel the positive and holistic benefits of it. My focus, so far, has been non-acrobatic yoga over the years. And although I am an instructor, the other limbs have always been illusive to me. Evita has a wonderful way of bringing the missing concepts to life, giving me a new perspective on yoga, and to broaden my own practice in the future. Thank you!

I have completed couple of lessons but i still didn't get what i am looking for. I have been waiting to see how the Yoga and meditation is being performed. So far it is all theory but no practicle or procedures being discussed.

This course is excellent, I highly recommend it. I've studied Yoga for many years. And like Evita shares, it is so much more than the physical postures that most westerners, (and even many easterners) believe it to be. It feels like Evita is sharing an experiential wisdom as she guides the way through the 8 limbs of Yoga, and colors her teaching with very practical ways to "live and be" the limbs including being environmentally considerate, as well as considerate and compassionate to all beings starting with oneself. I have read many versions of the Yoga Sutras that are much more academic, but with that seems to come a sense of sterility. This is the most down to earth, -here's how you DO Yoga- teaching plans that I have had the pleasure of viewing. Thank-you for sharing this gift.
