Resin printing differs from traditional FDM 3D printing in that it uses lightwaves to create smooth and detailed prints out of a liquid photo polymer resin. This zero-waste process is faster and can create much more finely detailed prints than FDM printers.

This was a great introduction to MSLA 3D printing and it gave me everything I need to complete my first prints! I was nervous about adding supports and how resin flow inside of a hollow model might work, however Kevin shows great attention to detail and explains both concepts very well.

excellent course for beginners from start to finish. Covers all aspects of 3D printing from start to finish. If your new to 3D printing this is the course for you. I'm using the most recent version of Chitubox. You might want to update a few parts that have changed with the most recent version. You also might want to mention about Water Washable Resin and some of the safety precautions you take with them.

This was an excellent course and as a beginner it was the soup to nuts beginning course that I was looking for. My only suggestion and especially as it relates to Chitubox is that the author should provide a file that everyone watching the video can use at the same time. There is nothing better than doing as the video is playing. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this course those wanting to learn 3D printing.

Resin has been proven to eat through latex gloves much easier than Nitrile gloves. I highly recommend adding a note about that to the course. ( I realize this is an older video.)

Great course! Learned a ton and got lots of tips and tricks for better resin prints. The only suggestion I have would be to level out the audio as some lessons are a bit harder to hear than others. Other than that, fantastic.

In each Video where Kevin is in front of the Camera, there is no Sound. The subtitles are often not good.

Good explanation and demo to understand the concept and how to operate Chitubox for actual printing from start to end. The resources are useful also. Highly recommend for beginner of 3D resin printing.

I did not like the sample figures chosen for the demonstration. I teach students in school and the human figures were too inappropriate in my opinion.

I was hoping for more detailed explanations of the print settings. I'm having difficulty working with a specialized type of resin (various types of print failures) and I wanted a deeper understanding of each setting option. Otherwise it's been a good course so far. Clear and easy to follow.

Great beginner topic. I think covering calibration prints and how to use them to customise exposure, lift settings, etc, would be great for the beginner. All of the beginner topics i've come across cover the bare basics leaving the learner a false sense of what lies ahead. Delve a bit more into the trouble shooting aspects to help beginners.
