Over an hour of lectures, with exercises that are a lot more than just repetitive practice. Each lecture is a lesson in style development, and each exercise will change the way you think about creative writing, and develop the cognitive tools you use to turn your story ideas into actual narration.

Each lecture comes with a handout to download, with either factual information, useful links, or additional commentary on some of the ideas and techniques, as well as the exercise instructions written in full.

When I learn on-line, I always watch the whole series of videos and then I go back and watch them again and participate in the assignments. I can't wait to re-watch Harry's videos. He is the ideal teacher for me: I like his voice; his teaching style; and, his assignments. I purchased four of his courses, based on the sample videos, and this is the first one I've watched. If they're all as good as this one, I've got a real bargain. Thanks!

Harry seems able to always reframe artistic/writerly issues in an informative and illuminating fashion. Or ever transformational I would say. This is my second run through, as his courses, although short, seem to have immense depth.

I was editing my fiction novel and didn’t like how my narration/prose sounded. I needed a quick course to get me on tract and once again Harry Dewulf delivered. I watched the teaching videos in one evening and did the exercises the next day. I had to ‘think’ to play the games and realized, I wasn’t thinking in my edits. Harry’s concept of a silent listener in the room was a big help. As a result, my imagination increased and with that my understanding of the difference between denotation and connotation. When Harry said, ‘Style isn’t about the writer at all, it’s about the READER’, my narration began to flow. Thanks, Harry.

The content is well explained. I can't leave this course without becoming a better storyteller knowing the foundation of style. Even that which I didn't know to ask is covered.
