Learn to make 2D Platformer game for PC/Android/IOS

Great instructor, detailed course - this is quite complete and gives you an excellent starting point for exploring more on your own. Too bad unity is destroying itself, else the value of this course would be immense

Despite having some, few bugs on my project (probably my fault anyways) this course it's really good. the tutor is very helpful and replies really quick to any of the questions you might have. I really recommend it. I just bought the new course and I'm heading to it now.

I started several Unity courses, in Udemy and other platforms, I always ended up leaving them. This is the first time I actually got into the course, although there are several things that I don't do right, the teaching is outstanding and the course itself feels right, like well assembled and you can see the effort and care it has. I'm glad I bought it.

My interest in Udemy courses is Unity game development. I've completed 7 or 8 courses. Most of those were just bad, taught by underqualified instructors with a poor understanding of C#. In fact, I had almost given up on taking courses on Udemy. Then I decided to give AlexDev a try. In a word, Alex is awesome. He is well-educated in C# and teaches it the right way. He courses are fun and you'll learn a lot. He is very active in the Q&A section and any questions you ask will be answered quickly. If you're looking to learn Unity game dev, Alex is it!

This course was fantastic! This covers a lot of ground with pretty straight forward logic and gives a great overview of the various parts of Unity and game creation. I found that prior knowledge of Unity and c# was very useful when things got a little overwhelming. I highly recommend for beginners that want to tackle something a little more than just the basics.

Everything is well explained even for complete beginners and if you have some knowledge in Unity and have done something then you will enjoy the course to But I have to comment that it would be better to bring a general introduction and then go into the code than after we wrote the code and then Explains what we wrote but overall it's a course that gives the knowledge you need so don't worry buy this course That it gives you the ability to prepare a game with a saving system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Unfortunately a lot of the courses do not bring a normal retention system at all or without at all and therefore this course that explains A lot of important things is good for a beginner !!!!!!-----------------------------------------------------!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As an advanced beginner who created some things I changed a bit from his methods but his is also good for beginners And I also learned some new things To sum up the course is good and the teacher is active and really wants his students to succeed (That I said he is active the intention is that he answers the questions we ask which is very important as opposed to some Of the courses available on Unity ) So I recommend this course and it seems that the teacher brings us more other courses At a cheap price !!_______Some good things to know more____________!! And if you ask a question please send him a picture it really helps him understand the problem and solve it. And the instructor asked the students in the "Announcements" tab which course they wanted and I want to say that he is the instructor The only one who borrowed it from all the other instructors I learned from and seemed to really care about his students !! ---------------------------!! Some comments to the guide 1 will make an overall introduction to Unity that it changes the types 2 In you will see that there are several methods to make the same code to expand the general knowledge and explain why we use In this code and not in this one 3 with you will be able to teach input of remote control and advertising system in games or buying things with money

Awesome course! Alex is a great teacher ) Really like how he delivers complicated things in small pieces and easy explanation.

He goes through things step by step instead of rushing through everything and still manages to keep it simple enough to understand even though I am a beginner.

Amazing Course with a Great Teacher! I highly recommend this course! This is the first Udemy course I've actually finished! I normally start courses (or youtube/unity tutorials) but for one reason or another, I never finish them. This course was very interesting and put together well. I really like that it takes you through the whole process of building a game and not just a piece of it. That really helped me understand why you might start out coding something one way but then update it the further along you get in development. I've learned a lot from this course. Alex does a great job of explaining everything, it was easy to understand and if you do have questions he's quick to respond. I found the course to be interesting and engaging, I was looking forward to completing the next video throughout. That was my 1st complete game dev course and it was really nice. Sometimes I missed even a brief explanation what will be an outcome of each video. For example while working on enemies there was always a little demonstration of what we are building, but later in the course I missed it. The course seemed nicely structered and I feel that I learned a lot. Obviously there is some stuff I wish was explained in more details, but I understand not everything can be explained in the beginng of game development journey. I appreciate this course and time spent to prepare it!

This course has me stoked and so far it's easy to follow and the captioning helps! I'm ready to learn something amazing!

If you want to get out of most this course, try to implement it with different enemies and extend the code, and also try to understand it from the mathematical perspective. Alex is a great teacher imo, i learn faster, even i take his 4 hours section by 3 days ( Morning to night ) it because i extend enemies behaviour. And for the creator of the course, hopefully you create another exiting course :) Thank you for sharing your knowledge
