Counting aloud would help. Bonus coupons not available. ??? Teaching strum wo mention of metronome or timing is a big oversight - especially for this beginner.

Strums and presentation was very good However, none of the strums mean anything by themselves. Each strum could have been related to a song to bring to life. Nice guy but disaointing

Instructor spent most of the time talking irrelevant stuff. Otherwise, the course would be brief and precise. I did learn a few new strumming techniques.

Love this course. I have been learning guitar on my own, but few talk specifically about strumming patterns....I like how he quickly gives you the pattern... I wish he gave us a bit about what kinds of songs or maybe run each pattern on a song...but beside that...I like the instructor's courses....straight and to the point....

It's a good course! The instructor does a really good job teaching the strum patterns. I am more of an intermediate player, but my strumming was a bit weak, this course definitely helped improve it and fast! The only reason I'm giving it 4.5 stars instead of 5 is that $85 (CAD) seems a bit steep for the course compared to some of the other course on here (no longer valid - 5 STARS!!!). Aside from that it's fun, creative and the instructor is great! Keep up the good work!

These lectures are the most fun! You can enjoy the process while learning new strumming patterns on the guitar. And I love the way Henry describes it as "texture" when showing the strumming pattern with the strings muted. It helped me FEEL it better and not pay so much attention the the proper chord or sound at first. You're going to love this course even if you already play guitar. I have been playing for years and have already learned some new techniques. Henry is engaging and makes it fun to practice.

Clear and im learning but i wish he would just do one cycle of ddu ud or whatever so that i can see where the pattern stops ans starts over. Thats the only confusing part for me so far.

Excellent instruction concerning achieving strumming mastery for students! Many instructors fail to teach students how to play diverse strumming patterns which stymies the students' progress and ability to jam with other musicians. The play-alongs help students to slowly master the strumming patterns individually. Fabulous course, Henry!
